ABOUT
Long History of Youth Baseball
Since 1961, the Scioto Valley Youth League has operated youth baseball programs at Mary Lou Patton Park in Chillicothe, Ohio. Over the past 58 years, tens of thousands of youth have learned the game of baseball and developed teamwork skills, sportsmanship and hard work.
Independent Organizations
SVYL is comprised of 12 independent organizations that make up the league. Each organization, led by a Manager, selects their coaches and players to participate in the league. This federated structure strengthens the framework of the league.
Elite Facilities
Mary Lou Patton Park, located on Douglas Avenue in Chillicothe is home to five baseball fields, three softball fields and two football fields for youth sports. The Scioto Valley Senior League, for ages 13 to 16, operates at the Ross County Park on Egypt Pike.
